No News on New Year's Day!

This story illustrates the fact that it has been a slow news day in Birmingham. Apparently, over the Christmas period we have been tipping even more waste oil and fat down our sinks and into the drains. This ultimately congeals and can block the pipes. Severn Trent Water are not impressed that people have ignored their advice...but they should know that we would throw anything we can down the sink if we had the opportunity!
