Summer Time is Over

Today is the first day of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) as the clocks went back by one hour at 2:00 am. In the UK it is the end of British Summer Time (BST) and in the rest of Europe it is the end of European Summer Time. It's not so many years ago that this change was on different days for different parts of Europe, but now, by and large, the change is synchronised! However, in the USA the clocks 'go back' next Sunday! The good thing, for me, is that I get an extra hour in bed!!

Your Sunday questions are: -
  1. Which artist was born in Málaga today in 1881?

  2. Katy Perry (right) was born today in 1984 and had her first UK and US No 1 hit in 2008 with which single?

  3. Which American golfer died in a plane crash today in 1999?
Yesterday's Answers: 1. Toronto Blue Jays; 2. "Mary Had a Little Lamb"; 3. F Murray Abraham
