Scientists have reported that an extract found in turmeric can kill off cancer cells. The chemical, curcumin, is also being tested as a treatment for arthritis and dementia! So, maybe my preference for low cost Indian food, as opposed to expensive Michelin starred restaurants,will stand me in good stead in the long run!
