George Washington: Book Thief!

George Washington borrowed two books from the New York Society Library in October 1789 and has so far failed to return them! Adjusting for inflation, the fine now stands at about $300,000! Librarians uncovered this whilst digitising the records from that era! Although he never told a lie; George Washington failed to return his library books!
