Cadbury to Stay British?

My local chocolate manufacturer Cadbury (I can see the factory from my window and, sometimes, smell chocolate in the air!) is under threat from a hostile takeover from Kraft! If successful, it would mean that after 230 years the firm would become foreign owned and several local MP's have tabled a motion for Cadbury's iconic brands to remain British! Whether they are successful remains to be seen, but if the takeover goes ahead it will just be another in the long line of British icons that have become foreign owned - like HP Sauce, Jaguar, Land Rover, Manchester United to name but a few!

Your Wednesday questions are: -

  3. Which African country gained independence from Portugal today in 1975?
Yesterday's Answers: 1. Henry Morton Stanley; 2. Monster Raving Loony Party; 3. Stalingrad
