Every year on 12th August we are able to witness the greatest show on earth - namely the Perseid Meteor Shower which, at it's peak reaches over 60 shooting stars per hour! Living in a big city means that the view is not great, but I do remember occasions back in my home village or on our narrowboat when I've had a great view of this spectacular show. Hopefully, there will be few clouds tonight!
