National Health Service

It's been quite surprising to see the National Health Service become a political football in the United States! Over here we're used to the debate about the failings in the system, but we are always reassured by the fact that when we are ill we get treated FOR FREE! Sure there are flaws in the system (show me a health service that is perfect!) but we always feel comfortable that we will get treated, whether we are wealthy or poor. That's the fact the Republicans seem to miss...but then they probably all have the money to pay for it!!
