Sidney the Snail Clinches World Title!

With a top speed of 0.003mph (0.005kph) over a 13-inch (31cm) course in Norfolk, Sidney the Snail raced to achieve the accolade of a world title. He successfully fought off all-comers in the go-slow championship at Congham in Norfolk. He crossed the finishing line in a leisurely 3 minutes 41 seconds to claim the World Snail Racing Championship title. About 200 competitors gathered for the annual event held at the village fĂȘte!
