A row has erupted after Blizzard - the publishers of the popular online game World of Warcraft - announced that users on its site forums would have to post under their real names. Users are worried about their privacy and safety, but I don't see a problem. I am constantly amazed at the vitriol and pure nastiness that some people can display in their forum posts when hiding behind this veil of anonymity! Imagine doing this in the 'real world' - would these people go out to the pub or bar or restaurant wearing a veil or mask and then get into a row with other people over something quite trivial? No, of course they wouldn't...but then they probably don't get out much anyway!!!
Your Thursday questions are:-
- Joseph Chamberlain (right) was born today in 1836 and became Mayor of which Midlands city in 1873?
- Which country won the FIFA World Cup in Rome today in 1990?
