Christ the Redeemer Restored

The 130 ft (39.6 m) statue of Christ the Redeemer overlooking Rio de Janeiro has reopened after four months of restoration work. Over 60,000 pieces of stone (from the original quarry) were used to repair water damage to the 79-year-old statue!
