Fred Dibnah's Steam Engine Sold

The steam engine that was lovingly restored over 25 years by Fred Dibnah and that was used to pull his coffin to his 2004 funeral has been sold for £240,000! He intended to collect his MBE by driving it up the Mall to Buckingham Palace, but was thwarted by officials who thought it was too heavy for the road surface!
