Ticket Machine "Speaks" German

Here's a quirky tale from my own city of Birmingham. There is a ticket machine in one of the Birmingham city centre car parks that gives instructions in German...but only once the car park is full!! How this can happen is still a mystery, but it isn't the first example of the wrong language being applied in Birmingham. A few years ago when the first 'Birmingham Eye' Ferris wheel was installed the commentary in the capsules described the views to be seen in Paris in French!!

Your Monday questions are: -
  1. The first edition of which dictionary was published today in 1884?

  2. Which is the older of the Everly Brothers who was born today in 1937, Phil (left) or Don (right)?

  3. Actress Elisabeth Sladen was born today in 1948 and plays the title role in which "Doctor Who" spin-off TV series?
Yesterday's Answers: 1. USA; 2. Hanged; 3. John Lydon
