Police Drone Grounded

Merseyside Police have had to ground their new £40,000 remote controlled surveillance helicopter because they don't have a licence!! New rules that came into force at the start of the year mean that to fly within 50 m of people and within 150 m of buildings a permit is required. It just makes you wonder which other laws our police aren't aware of or don't follow!

Your Wednesday questions are: -
  1. Who was born today in 1936 and was the first American Footballer to score 100 touchdowns in his career?

  2. Actress Patricia Routledge (right) was born today in 1929 and played which pensioner and amateur detective on TV?

  3. What is the most famous song/poem written by Australian poet 'Banjo' Patterson who was born today in 1864?
Yesterday's Answers: 1. Fidel Castro; 2. California; 3. Nylon
