Pubs Win Court Battle Over Music

Pubs, hotels and restaurants are likely to get a share of a £20 million refund on excess charges that have been made for playing recorded music in their establishments. Phonographic Performance Limited brought in the charges in 2005, but a court has now ruled that they were excessive. This is great news for pubs in these difficult times...I just hope they don't celebrate by turning it up too loud!!
