Snooker Loopy!

This time last year I was writing about John Higgins triumph in the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible in Sheffield! Twelve months later Aussie Neil Robertson has won the title in a snooze promoting final against Graeme Dott and John Higgins has been suspended following a News of the World sting operation! Is it the beginning of the end for snooker? Probably not, but it does raise questions about how easy/hard it is for sportsmen to affect results in more subtle ways than just throwing a game!

Your Wednesday questions are:-
  1. Kublai Khan became ruler of which empire today in 1260?

  2. Which was the first fragrance to be introduced by Coco Chanel (right) today in 1921?

  3. Which of the "Monty Python" team was born today in 1943 in Sheffield?
Yesterday's Answers: 1. HMS Sheffield; 2. Egypt; 3. The Derby
