'Artificial Life' Created

This is momentous news, that artificial life has been created in the USA! It is too early to tell whether this life-form is truly viable, but it is the first step on a journey that will be difficult to predict. No doubt lazy journalists will trot out Frankenstein clichés in the press, but this could be much more dangerous (and potentially much more beneficial)! Will it be a 'two-edged sword' like nuclear power? Only time will tell!
