Good for Birmingham; Bad for Cheltenham

Following the Kraft Foods takeover of Cadbury's, the first casualties are revealed...and it is good news for Bournville! Kraft have announced that they are to close their headquarters in Cheltenham and move them to Birmingham. So, that's about 500 jobs that will be lost in Cheltenham, but it will secure (and maybe add) jobs here in Birmingham. Unfortunately, that's the way of business, but some measure of relief for my neighbourhood!
