Broadband in Every UK Home by 2012

That's what the government have announced. It's a bold ambition, but what wiil it bring us? Sure, we all like to be kept up-to-date about the world via the internet (as we are now!), but will it bring any other benefits? I think it will in ways that we probably can't imagine at the moment...watch this space.
