Bad Day for Cardinals & Archbishops

Every now and then I'm struck by coincidences while researching this blog for you. On this day in history four Cardinals/Archbishops have died - Fulk the Venerable, Archbishop of Rheims (assassinated 900); Philip, Cardinal Howard (1694); Cardinal Basil Hume, Archbishop of Westminster (1999); Cardinal Thomas Winning, Archbishop of Glasgow (2001). Strange, but true!
