The winners of the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards have been announced. Elbow won two awards and others went to Duffy, Ting Tings, Vince Clarke, Smokey Robinson, Massive Attack and Edwyn Collins. Coldplay were also winners, but no-one from the band (or their management) bothered to turn up!
