Royal Mail not to be Sold Off

For all of us who don't want to see the Royal Mail privatised, this is a good decision from Lord Mandelson! Considering how little it costs to send a letter, the Post Office is excellent value and must not be broken up! Most of the pressure comes from the EU Competition Commission, but they don't seem to understand that, if they ever get their way, the service to the average customer (i.e. you and me!!) will be so much poorer than it has ever been!

Car Firms Get £2.3bn Loan Package

This latest announcement by Lord Mandelson is very welcome news here in the Midlands! Jaguar and Land Rover, directly and indirectly, are responsible for over 70,000 jobs in the region and it would be a very big blow if they were to collapse.
